New Legacy Village

It takes a village. New Legacy Village

What is "Housing Instability"?

Housing instability means lacking a steady home with space for self and belongings.

Who is at risk?

Absolutely everyone is at risk of becoming housing unstable. Millions of Americans have been affected by housing instability either directly (*relying on others for shelter) or indirectly (*others relying on them for shelter). So then, housing instability affects both those who cannot provide for themselves, AND those who have stability but accommodate those less-priviledged.

Housing unstable if...

Living with family. Living with friends. Living out of a hotel. Living out of a vehicle. Living with multiple people in one place. Also living on the streets.

But did you know...

Spending more than half your income on housing and utility bills is also considered a form of housing instability.

What is "Homelessness"?

Homelessness is living without any protection (*living out in the elements).

What is New Legacy Village?

New Legacy Village (NLV) is a public charity designed to create housing stability. NLV is a 509a2 public charity that addresses instabilityies' many roots. From our in house transportation "Slay Ridez", to health and wellness, and from housing (utilities included) to food.
We make it easy as possible to exist as a human.

Food instability in Northwest Arkansas

Does food instability exist in NWA?

Yes. Many Americans in the United States of America suffer from food instability on a daily basis. Food instability can be manifested in many ways; eating non-nutritionally dense food, eating food not suitable for medically ordered diets, not having access to food, or lacking proper storage for food.

NLV addresses these issues directly. The way a loving parent would care for their child--holistically--NLV cares for each resident and addresses their needs, their nutrition, including withholding allergens and supplying healthy alternatives, listening to their preferences and shopping accordingly, and much more.

NLV in the community

NLV has been active in the Northwest Arkansas (NWA) communities. How are we helping people? By receiving donations from all places, and disbursing donations to the folks who are in need. On September 6, 2023 NLV donated over 200lbs of chicken breasts to individuals in the community, including a local children's shelter.

NLV has also given away hundreds of pounds of potatoes, over 75 dozen eggs, and countless loaves of bread to the people in NWA.

Let's write new narratives

Next steps...

NLV is currently looking for land, building materials (at cost or free), and anyone ready to share the workload. Whether you can contribute land, materials, something else, or share the word we appreciate all help. *All gifts and donations are tax-deductible*

NLV's Vision

NLV's vision is to provide affordable, all-inclusive, holistic, housing to those seeking our support; because everyone deserves shelter and protection, love and community.

NLV's Mission

NLV's mission is to serve the community, without all the hoops to jump through, without extra paperwork, simply meeting community needs by disbursing donations directly to the communities in need.

How do we know the needs? We ask. We ask "what do you need?" and we listen to them.

How do we get donations? From viewers like you, corporate donations, other charities and nonprofit organizations, store liquidations, and more.

What does NLV do? Everything. Literally.

What does AAHH mean?

AAHH means affordable, all-inclusive, holistic, housing. The answer isn't to pay bills separately, but put everything together in one low bill. At NLV we believe people need help, and if they lack resources--they cannot GET resources.
